Which AI models does Postlix support?
Postlix integrates with OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4o-mini, GPT-3.5 Turbo), DeepSeek (deepseek-chat, deepseek-coder, deepseek-reasoner), and any OpenAI-compatible API provider. You can switch AI models at any time from your chatbot settings without reconfiguring anything else.
How do I train the chatbot with my own data?
You can train your chatbot in three ways: paste a website URL and we will automatically crawl and extract content, upload documents (PDF, TXT, DOCX), or manually enter Q&A pairs. The AI processes your data and uses it as context for every conversation, so responses are tailored to your business.
How do I add the chatbot to my website?
After creating your chatbot, go to the Embed tab in your dashboard. Copy the single line of JavaScript code and paste it before the closing </body> tag on your website. It works with any platform: WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, custom HTML, React, Vue, and more.
What is included in the free plan?
The free plan includes 1 chatbot, 50 AI-powered messages per month, basic conversation analytics, and community support. It is a great way to try Postlix on a personal project or small site before upgrading. No credit card required to sign up.
How does billing and upgrading work?
Postlix uses Stripe for secure billing. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are prorated. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You can cancel anytime with no penalty.
Is my data private and secure?
Absolutely. Your training data and conversation logs are encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not use your data to train any AI models. Each chatbot's knowledge base is completely isolated. We comply with GDPR requirements and you can delete all data at any time from your dashboard.
